Ordinance 2025-06 was passed on June 16, 2025 and is effective for the August usage September billing cycle.
The sewer rates have increased and will now be metered. The Residential rate is $30.41 plus a rate of $6.00 per one thousand gallons of water, sewer customers shall be billed according to 65% of the actual gallon usage with a minimum usage payment for 2,000 gallons (e. g. a “residential” sewer customer would pay a $30.41 base rate and a usage rate of $7.80 for a total of $38.21 — calculated at a minimum usage of 2,000 gallons of water). Commercial, Church and School rates are $60.82 and billed according to 65% of the actual gallon usage with a minimum usage payment for 2,000 gallons at a rate of $6.00 per one thousand gallons of water used. Water usage of 3,000 gallons and up will cost $3.90 per 1,000 gallons used.
